Does a name change and/or an unfortunate but fairly common circumstance of birth rate that much effort to cover up?

If Hillary's primary opponent was born "Barry Dunham" and went by that name until he was adopted by the Soetoros, for him to later change his name "Barack Hussein Obama II" would indicate a few things:

1. His name was a deliberate choice, and thus a legitimate basis for questioning.
2. His childhood history is likely a pack of lies or a fantasy.
3. Obama may be more interested in maintaining a fantasy than in living in the real world.

It may be that Obama's interest in preventing his childhood history from being unraveled stems not from a desire to prevent such unraveling from damaging his campaign, but rather a desire to avoid having to personally acknowledge that he's been living in a dreamworld. As a former liberal, I can't say with any certainty that Obama is motivated by a need to maintain his fictional universe, but the theory would certainly fit.

We really need a Hawaiian native to check old newspaper records. If Obama was really born in Hawaii, it should have appeared in the Honolulu paper. A few days after Aug 4, 1961

In 1961 no paper published the birth of an illegitimate child.

These are all possible reasons to hide or lie about a birth record:

1. Born BHO in Hawaii, just ILLEGITIMATE - no dad listed.
2. Born BHO in Hawaii to a dad listed as ARAB, not negro.
3. Born BHO in Hawaii, to Muslim dad & race listed as WHITE.
4. Born BHO in WA, OR, CA or KS in ‘HOME for UN-WED girls.
5. Born Barry Dunham, not BHO, but born in Hawaii.
6. Born Barry Dunham, some OTHER GUY listed as dad.
7. Born Barry Dunham, in another state as in # 4.
8. Born Barry Dunham in CANADIAN ‘home for un-wed girls’
9. Born Barack Husein Obama in KENYA, Africa, but flown quickly to Hawaii and registered as home birth.
10. Born Barack Husein Obama in KENYA, Africa, and legally naturalized as American citizen at some later date
