I am the last one to defend Zero but with all these meetings on the debt ceiling it is common knowledge that an agreement has to made “next week”. Couple that with the day of August 2nd as the day we run out of money and it is possible that in his mind August 2nd, and hence August 4th, are in fact “next week”.
I seriously doubt that explanation you just gave. It doesn’t make on iota of sense to me. I think his brain is fried from trying to keep all of his lies straightened out.
