Not quite. If he was born in Hawaii, he's a probably a natural born citizen. (Well maybe not since his "father" was a British National, and not even a "Green Card" holder, but rather here on a student visa).
However if he was not born in the US, and his parents were married, then he's a not US citizen, unless later naturalized. Because in the case of a birth outside the country to a US Citizen parent and a foreign national, the US Citizen parent had to live 5 years in the US after their 14th birthday, (10 total) which his mother had not, (it's now two years, 5 total), in order for the child to be a US Citizen at birth.
