I see your point, and respect (and agree with) your concerns.

However, frankly I’m glad to see people getting just a bit hysterical about Obama. He seems to be something of a “Manchurian Candidate”.

Concerns about his possibly fake BC, focus on that very concerning aspect of Obama. The small but troubling possibility, he’s some sort of sleeper agent.

For what? Communism? Islam? Both??

I sort of look at it this way: Any time FReepers spend posting about Obama’s sleaziness, is time not spent ... whining about John McCain. :)

Actually, the largest concern for me isn’t necessarily the Muslim stuff. It is the election in general, and the damage that may happen to religious institutions and conservative values in doctrine disseminated. While gearing up for the vote, the guy is crafty in his abilities, with MSM support, to pull wool over many eyes. He speaks of increasing the faith based initiatives with liberal caveats, but the restrictions get little press - only the increase. See, there are many that aren’t engaged like folks here, other conservative sites, or in liberal sites for that matter. Most of the population couldn’t tell you Obama or McCain are senators, what they really believe, and God forbid if they knew how they voted and what legislation they advanced. They will hear that Obama supports the SC decision on guns, and that he wants to grow faith based initiatives.

Meanwhile, we are spinning around saying he is an illegal alien from Kenya or something. Just seems like a good misdirection, so I can see why Obama hasn’t really responded. Why should he, when he has folks looking the other way while he is quietly moving in on the religious segments that got Bush elected twice. Even a mere 5 percent bump with that contingent would do him wonders. Forget what he might do to the institutions if elected, but think about the effort to fool the religious right into accepting him and how it might allow him to get elected God forbid. McCain is too much of a dodo bird to fight this fight, in my opinion frankly.
