Seems like this whole mess is a good way of imposing misdirection to keep the eyes off the ball.
Meanwhile, in the real world, this election has Obama courting the religious right with expansion of Bush’s faith based programs with caveats that will get no press. Sure we will have more programs but with strings attached that perpetuate the liberalism of religious entities and foundations by not allowing them to operate under religious doctrine. Follow the money, which many will be fighting for, but those funds are jeopardized by any type of discrimination as dictated. In essence, they want to control the religious outreach under liberal doctrine.
While this probably means nothing to anyone, those clamoring for the money will sell their souls and their religion potentially and further puts religion under the control of government. The press won’t pound this home because they see religion as something else already and those religious conservatives will be spoon fed how great Obama is towards religion.
Bush won in 2004 with 60% of the religious vote, or something near that level or higher. If Obama can pull off the faithbased initiatives with MSM help, McCain might lose some of that base because he hasn’t been real strong in that regard to start with.
Just great, I talk religion and I get post 666.
Re post 666:
(how appropriate)
Is Obama’s, “faith based initiative” about the religious right? The media seems to be focusing on that aspect.
Perhaps it’s important to ask this question loud and often:
Or, is it about Islamic charities?...
