Now that I am slowly recuperating from withdrawal of the long-thread syndrome I have quite a few links which I found during my surfing. The first link is an article from “The Crimson” Harvard’s newspaper which was orignally published in 1983 detailing the escalating cries of racism prior to the one professor leaving his job in protest in 1990. This provides a perfect explanation of why Obama (the fence sitter) was chosen as the first black editor of “The Harvard Law Review”.

The second article is not dated but from the dates mentioned it is from summer 1990 when Obama was at his second law firm in Chicago and it details some of the LSAT scores and the difference from those of white students compared to blacks. It even has a few short quotes from Obama.

Explanation of LSAT scores:
“While no data is available on students’ grades by race, minorities’ scores on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), considered a reliable predictor of future law school performance, are 10 points lower than whites’, according to the Law School Admission Council in Newton, Penn., which is affiliated with the group that oversees the LSAT. The mean for all test-takers is 32; the mean for minorities is 22 on a scale of 10 to 48.”

and farther down the excerpts from Obama :

“It’s common knowledge that a lot of lawyers are unhappy with their profession,” said Barack Obama, a summer associate at Hopkins & Sutter and the first black to head the Harvard Law Review. “The difficulties end up, inevitably, being magnified for young minorities, either because they don’t have support networks or because their abilities may be questioned due to racism. They feel under the gun.”

I have a few more links such as one of the women who roomed with the Jackie O wannabe at Princeton, as well as aticles concerning the purchase of the mansion and how it relates to the disclosed tax forms and the deal for the books which was finalized at the end of Dec/2004. Funny enough the “story” goes that the Obamas paid off their student loans after the book deal was finalized and yet there is no record of that in the released income tax forms. Please let me know how you would like me to post the mentioned links so I can go search for the alleged interview with the neighbors remembering Barack and his mother after his birth.
