Not to beat a dead horse, but in 2004, in the midst of what they said was an immmense military misadventure by the Bush administration, they passed up a Silver Star winning stud (Clark may be a weasel, but he was a stud back in the day when the bullets were flying) who had been in command positions for decades and instead nominated a guy who had 3 months of useful military experience and had written a book about American helicopter pilots purposefully blowing Vietnamese children in front of trucks with their rotor wash, American soldiers calling in artillery on villages for fun and American Marines standing around watching South Korean Troops cut the fingers off NVA nurses before raping them to death.
The Dems are like Fox Mulder ("I want To Believe") only without a brain. They want to believe that anyone with a D after their name is the lightworker who will destroy the evil BushCo. They do so little questioning that they make Jehovah's Witnesses look like Mike Wallace.
