So if you concede that the person looking could have possibly made a mistake in their search, you can’t then say definitively “we looked; it wasn’t there.”
What can I say, Mr. Murphey is lurking everywhere. Published news report. I didn't do it myself. I don't expect to see a published newspaper report of either the birth in Hawaii in August of 91 or the marriage at Maui in February of 1991--I think both happened in Kenya.
One straw of the evidence is that no newspaper report appears where you would expect to find it if it had happened in accordance with the generally accepted fairy tale.
