Lord Stirling, born in New York, was a dead natural citizen at the time of the adoption of the Constitution so I am not sure of his status ;-)
Whatever his status GW and the guys made doggone sure someone like him would never be able to become President - check out the 14 years a resident ~ I think that neatly excised renegade UK lords - not that he was alive at the time but he was the fellow who commanded the Maryland 400 and had his own following.
