I’ve just lurked a little. I’ve been caught up in the BO COLB mess and I came upon this board in my research on that.
I dabble in genealogy and I find this kind of stuff all sorts of interesting.
I am trying to talk my extremely conservative son to join FreeRepublic. He lurks here, particularly when I send him a link to a good thread, and he then passes these on to his group of conservative friends.
I told him that he might be questioned/suspected a troll because of the heat of the election season, and that if he was, to mention my screen name. Because of his hectic work schedule, and a brand new baby in the house, I do not think he has signed up just yet.
When he does, I will vouch for him.
