CBS news article where Obama's "half-sister" Maya says that she was 9 years old in 1972 when her parents divorced.

1972-9=1963.

Not true. Here is the paragraph:

Soetoro-Ng, who is nine years younger than Obama, said her mother divorced Soetoro when she was 9, making Obama the father figure in her life.

The year is never mentioned.

she doesn’t say 1972 as far as I can see, this is what it says:

‘Soetoro-Ng, who is nine years younger than Obama, said her mother divorced Soetoro when she was 9, making Obama the father figure in her life. He toured colleges with her, showed her New York and Chicago and gave her her first novels...’

That black and white image I posted of the family group, where the baby appears to be just a few months old...how old does obama appear to be there? He would have to be at least nine years of age, according to the sister.

And then he goes to Indonesia, enters school for the first time, and now he’s only seven?

But when he returns to Hawaii in that school photo dated 1972, he’s in Grade Five, looks to be 10 or eleven?

No wonder someone said there were more than one of them!
