It is said on the internet that Obama is an Indonesian citizen.

Was US citizenship renounced for him to become an Indonesian citizen?

Would this affect whether he was "natural born"?

Current Indonesian law states that an Indonesian citizen cannot hold another nationality – in other words Indonesian law does not recognise or allow for dual citizenship. Different rules apply to children who have one Indonesian parent and one non-Indonesian parent. Further information regarding dual citizenship for children in these circumstances should be sought from the relevant Indonesian authorities.

What would the rules have been back then?

The internet has a lot of cr*p on it. Dont beleive it. Somewhere on the internet it says that Obama represents Hope and Change. What a pantload!
