The Obamanators now are actually hoping it moves up the media food chain enough that they can suddenly produce the real BC, attack and humiliate anyone who bought into believing that "Obama is ineligible" etc., and use the whole episode to try to discredit all questions about his background in advance.

That is just flat out nuts. The Obama campaign has certified to the world that the document being shown is a genuine copy. If it is not, there will be hell to pay and they will discredit only themselves big time. People GO TO JAIL for forging documents like birth certificates. Anyone who says they could just laugh this is delusional.

Uh, I'm sorry, where have you been for the past 15 years?? I cannot count how many times I'd thought the Clintonistas or other leading Demagogues had finally, permanently, completely discredited themselves forever, and the media (not to mention all the 'Rats and RINOs) lets them just shrug it all off and keep on going as though they are credible, respectable human beings.

You say b/c this involves a legal document that "this time everything will be different" -- I'm sorry, but I'll have to see that to believe it. If anyone takes a hit it will simply be a low-level staffer or two, falling on their sword to protect Obama. Did you see where Sen. Schumer had two aides ILLEGALLY OBTAINING CREDIT REPORT INFO on Michael Steele back in 2004? Did Sen. Charles Schumer suffer ANY ignominy or disgrace in the media for that illegal episode?
