Even though hers was prepared about 10 years after his, note that hers is similar in form to that of us old folks and our parents and grandparents with lots of info, whereas his contains very little info.
To paraphrase an old saying, "A COLB is a "birth certificate" of a different color. I can tell that you're new to this discussion, so I'll repeat what I've said before - that Hawaii no longer issues the long form of the birth`certificate. They only issue the short form, known as the "Certification of Live Birth" or COLB for short.
You cannot -- repeat cannot -- get a copy of your daughter's original birth certificate. You will only receive the COLB.
Now, if you were working with the Justice Department, CIA, FBI, NSA, etc., you could get any darn thing you wanted from the Aloha State.
A newspaper story on the day he left, June 22, said Obama planned a several-weeks grand tour of Mainland universities before he arrived at Harvard to study economics on a graduate faculty fellowship. The story did not mention that he had a wife and an infant son.
Many years later, Barack Jr., then in high school, found a clipping of the article in a family stash of birth certificates and old vaccination forms. Why wasn't his name there, or his mother's? He wondered, he later wrote, "whether the omission caused a fight between my parents."

Never once is Stanley Ann nor her son mentioned. It's almost as if the boy and his mother never featured in obama snr's life at all.

Ok obama, if that 'family stash' included your own birth certificate, we would like to see it up on the fightthesmears website.
"Sarah-baked Alaskan republicans" refers to those self-dealing Republicans and their cohorts in Alaska whom Sarah Palin campaigned against and got removed from office. (There's also a company "Sarah Lee" that makes retail baked desserts. Their poundcake is used in many baked alaskan recipes as the sponge cake layer.)
Their self-dealing was not unlike that in Joe Biden's family (or Harry Reid's family, or Tom Daschle's family, or any number of Senators of both parties). Or even of the dealing Obama seems to have fronted on behalf of at least three power brokering groups in Chicago -- the Alinksy-Tenured Marxist-Weatherman group, the Trinity Methodist-Black Empowerment group, and the Rezko Middle Eastern web.
Just as interesting is this story after Obama was named editor of the Harvard Law Review where he would spend “50 to 60 hours a week” on the law review and miss class. How could someone who regularly misses class graduate magna cum laude?

Once again returning to “The Honolulu Advertiser” the only friend who spoke about the Columbia Days said the following:

“He was clearly shocked by the economic disparity he saw in Pakistan. He couldn’t get over the sight of rural peasants bowing to the wealthy landowners they worked for as they passed,” says Margot Mifflin, who makes a brief appearance in Obama’s memoir.
When Obama arrived in New York, he already knew Siddiqi — a friend of Chandoo’s and Hamid’s from Karachi who had visited Los Angeles. Looking back, Siddiqi acknowledges that he and Obama were an odd couple. Siddiqi would mock Obama’s idealism — he just wanted to make a lot of money and buy things, while Obama wanted to help the poor.

United State’s Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has a connection with Larkana, city of Bhuttos of Pakistan. In 1981 Obama as a student visited Larkana for a partridge hunting session. His host was one Hasan Chandio. City of Larkana was renamed. Its original name before the raj was Chandka. Chandios are still considered be the biggest landlords of Sindh.
During his visit to Pakistan he stayed in Hasan Chandio’s residence and later he traveled to interior Sindh for partridge hunting. In Sindh partridge hunting is considered as a symbol of good hospitality.
Hasan Chandio is Obama’s Pakistani friend who lives in Westchester County of New York. Obama also made friends with another Sindhi currently Chairman of Senate Muhammadmian Soomro who hails from Shikarpur hardly one hour’s drive from Larkana. He lived at Muhammad Ali Society residence of Ahmad Mian Soomro father of Chairman Senate Muhammadmian Soomro.
While tracing this story this scribe found from Time Magazine that Obama’s mother was a regular visitor of Pakistan and she had little knowledge of Urdu. Officially Barack Obama has so far not made his Pakistani connections public but he was quoted by Soomro that in Pakistan he came to know about Sunni and Shia sects...

He spent 'about three weeks' there, Mr. Obama’s press secretary, Bill Burton, said, staying in Karachi with the family of a college friend, Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, but also traveling to Hyderabad, in India." That information is significant for two reasons. First and foremost is the fact that Mohammed Hasan Chandoo is a radical Muslim who with his relatives operate a website that is anti-Semitic and anti-American and supports radical Islamic politics...

Obama says he was somewhat involved with the Black Students Organization and participated in anti-apartheid activities. “Mostly, my years at Columbia were an intense period of study,” he says. “When I transferred, I decided to buckle down and get serious. I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk.”
If you read the entire article linked at that comment ( I did read most of it although it make me choke) you'll probably ask yourself the same question I did...he was living hand to mouth, moving about from one cheap rental to another, and then suddenly he's a big man at Harvard.

This Columbia University newspaper article from January 2008 underscores the seeming Bermuda Triangle existing at Columbia 1981-1983.

Obama clearly has gone out of his way NOT to appear at Columbia. The paper reports that Columbia has been trying to get him to speak there since 2006. Nada. Now comes the primary campaign in full force and still he doesn’t hit one of the prime venues for affinity votes, one’s own alma mater. The guy’s stumping in every diner, African-American church and day care center at the time, but the value of an appearance at Columbia eludes him? Don’t buy it. If he didn’t speak or campaign at Columbia, he had a damn good reason to avoid the place, imho.
The article’s author admits that the only info he has about Obama’s time at Columbia is gleaned from scant references in Obama’s memoir...which conveniently offers explanation for no one remembering him: he kept to himself and holed up in the library all the time. Might be embarassing to have no idea where the library was that you spent so much time in.
If this were a screenplay, the intrepid reporter would now be contacting families of the class of ‘83 whose names begin with N, O, and P for the videotapes of their kids’ commencement ceremonies.
