Yes...re the Hagee videos. I’m finding out more about them.
Someone just responded that he had to remove a Hagee post.
JHM (John Hagee Ministries) directed all copyrighted content be removed. HOWEVER: YouTube went overboard and removed much more...including Atlas’ filming at AIPAC. The “over tenacity” that YouTube committed should be corrected.

It doesn’t seem to be a very good system. Anyone can claim to be an official and then the censorship has legs? That means CAIR can claim something that isn’t true and YouTube goes ahead and shuts down a post or a whole account! Re: MotionBox - There was NO good reason for the MotionBox harassment of Atlas. There was no good reason to censor my personal ISA videos that I had posted. ISA videos had to have someone complaining.... Yes, the internet community is still trying to figure out how to work all this out.BUT,in the meantime, certain “people” have and are using it to their advantage.

I think that’s how DMCA takedown notices work though—the copyright holder (which would be Hagee Ministries in the case of that speech) can pretty much go straight to Google and say “hey, we don’t want our stuff up there” and Google will yoink it.

Now why your personal videos of protests would get taken down? I have no idea. That’s YOUR video, with YOUR ownership. If the video doesn’t contain copyrighted content, I don’t see what would cause them to take it down unless, as you said, they knuckled under to somebody like CAIR.

It's probably just like the restrictions announced before every NFL telecast. I'm betting that the AIPAC proceedings may be subject to copyright restrictions on reproduction and distribution.

It may be that Google is doing censorship; more likely, they're just trying to do the same thing FR does, with regard to restricted sources.

The Republicans support the DMCA. They have unleashed the hounds upon their political base. And the Republican establishment is gleeful to have contrary voices removed from the public arena. They were bought off by Hollywood, and were already willing conspirators towards clamping down on Fair Use doctrine.
