Barack Obama may be getting a pass from the National Media on virtually every issue, but he's not going to get a pass from the National Rifle Association (NRA) on the issue of 2nd Amendment Rights. The NRA is planning a $40 million campaign this fall to make sure Americans know that 2nd Amendment Rights will be in jeopardy if Barack Obama is elected President. Jonathan Martin has the details in these excerpts from a report out today at Politico.com . . .

His name, Hussein, is enough to tell anyone with common sense he is not acceptable as President of a knitting club, much less the United States of America... however, common sense seems to be in short supply these days.

Yes, all evidence points towards he did. Please try to keep up with the latest rumors.

The fact is, whether you like or not, you can judge a book by its cover. As we can see, though his books, voting record and speeches, a negative assumption made on only on his name and Muslim background is 100% accurate.

Once while in jury selection, I was asked if I could be impartial. I looked at the attorney and said "Of course... it's easy to deduce, that the man in front of me committed the crime in question (this of course before hearing any evidence). The fact is, people with good character don't put themselves in positions to be arrested and arraigned by a grand jury for such a crime."

Like it or not, common sense can help guide you through life more accurately than assuming the best in human nature and then constantly being surprised when people turn out to be scum like Hussein.

Absolutely correct. He is a Muslim, and our guys (Rush, Levin, Hannity...) have to get on this because the left wing media never will. He wants to ban all guns to make us defenseless before his Muslim friends. Honestly, I cannot fathom how stupid most people are if this guy is actually in contention for the presidency.

As a caller to Ms Ingraham's show pointed out hardly a week goes by without Obama throwing someone "under the bus."

What a deal! As president he could throw millions of Americans under the bus.

Not just the second amendment. He and his friends are planning to discard the constitution and rewrite it to their liking through executive and judicial fiat. Starting with their founder, Jefferson, they have wanted to change the constitution because it did not allow enough power to the “people” meaning them. The phrase “the masses are asses” could be the blanket definition of the democrat party and its supporters. The democrat party is an enemy of the constitution and a threat to it.

common sense? you are talking about the party that says that this text from the 14th amendment means that abortion a right:

No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

but this text from the 2nd amendment doesn't mean you have a right to own a gun:

A well regulated militia being the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

The real fact of the matter, is they only apply the constitution when they "feel" like it. I'm flabbergasted that 4 idiots could misread something as simple as "the right of the people".

To an extent, it is a shorthand to a what person's family values were growing up. You can make a pretty good guess, that Mary Bridget O'Brien was raised in an Irish Catholic household, and may be the oldest daughter. Adam Cohen. is probably a first born Jewish child.

Barak Hussein Obama, Jr. We know from his name he is probably the oldest son of a Muslim. We can also guess that he didn't attend the local synagogue or church.

Knowing that his mother was nominally Christian, we can also guess that he would be a Muslim or not practice any religion as a child. His father, having left when he was little, and his mother marrying another Muslim, and shortly after moving to a Muslim country, would indicate he was raised in Islam. Whether he rejected that teaching at a later point is a legitimate question.

That's what we can glean from a name.

Unfortunately that is also true. Although I never used to think it was possible I can now envision the possibility that a part the populace might take action to throw out both parties and all judges in order to reclaim the constitution as the law of the land. The house and senate no longer represent us or even pretend to and judges legislate from the bench with impunity. That is not our representative republic as defined by the constitution.
