Stock up today I guess. Fire sale. Everything must go. What with their rulings about foreign terrorists’ “constitutional rights” and the right of a child rapist to not be sentenced to death, I am highly skeptical about our chances for a victory tomorrow.

I read that book years ago...it was a shopping list as I recall.

I suspect a lot of people are watching this decision. If it goes the wrong way everyone will be going on a huge buying spree.

Well, the Second Amendment was victorious with ALL prior courts. Why should it not be victorious again? Saying prayers for freedom. :-)

And in this election it is far more important to make a statement than vote for McCain, so don't vote. Show the Republican Party you know better than them and they should have picked a different candidate. One you approved of.
Heck, a non-vote for McCain will be the best way to effect this Republic for the next 30 years. Everyone will get your message and thank you.
Heck, put a sign up in your yard that you did not vote because the Republican party was wrong and did not listen to you. Yeah you will show us all.
(Ohm and see my tag line.

I didn’t see any info saying that it would be announced tomorrow, but I won’t knit pick.
Predictions?
6-3 or 7-2 in favor of an individual right.
I don’t see how the court could honestly, given all the other writings of the founders at that time, their personal notes, the letters they wrote, their speeches at various meetings and conventions, there’s a huge amount of material supporting the individual right position.
Self government.
Remember that one?

McCain voted to seat Souter and Ginsberg.
No thanks. The Constitution Party is looking better all the time....

I hope your message wasn’t actually directed at me because I have every intention of voting against Obama. Sorry I have to couch it like that because I’ve always believed you don’t win elections by voting against someone, but I think this year might just be an exception.
To: Bob Leibowitz
Just want all to know - if you go back to the 1st month of GW’s presidency I guaranteed everyone here that when he left that there would not be a true conservative court. I guarantee that with the next election & the next, etc. When the truly big decisions come down the real power people (elites/New World Order etc) get theirs & it is NOT a conservative court. So instead of the same old “Two-Party Cartel” song & dance why not vote for the closest party candidate to your views. Mine is Chuck Baldwin.

Ah there's the rub. Honestly. I don't think they decide much of anything honestly. Ideology reigns supreme, and not the ideology embodied in that old rag that they are supposed to be enforcing.

Who out of the usual Gang of 5 would flip and actually support the Constitution in this case?
