You may be right.That it is questionable shows how low the standards have sunk in this country.
First, why is the paper's different (border, etc)?- Possible answer, different registrar's office supplied it.
Second, why isn't it folded?- Possible answer, it was picked up directly from the registrar's office, not mailed.
Third, why isn't there a stamp or signature?- Possible answer, it is on the back (there is something that appears to be a date that is showing through). A different registrar’s office may use a stamp instead of an embossing machine.
Fourth, why is ‘African’ listed as a race for the father?- Possible answer, that is what the father put on the original birth certificate, being not from the US and knowing what terminology we use.
I think we need to understand we may be following a path that Obama’s side wants us to because they know it is keeping us from focusing on issues or policy gaffs.
Another possibility could be I thought of earlier, however, that his mom is not his real mother, he was adopted as an infant. If his real mother was also from Africa or not a US citizen. I see absolutely no resemblance between him and his ‘mom’.

I have my ‘original’ birth certificate too, very ornate and pretty with a big gold seal and my little footprint. But it’s for ‘souvenir’ purposes only, not officially good for anything.
My “sent away for” copies from Pennsylvania are plain jane documents and If I were going to post one on the internet for the world to see, I would black out the serial number too.

What would that be? We all know who his father is. We know he left him and his mother. Further more it's 2008, no need to be embarrassed by anything like that. The only thing I can think of that would be embarrassing is if his name on the certificate isn't Barrack Obama.

One original from the hospital that is correct
One “orginal” the state issued from info from a nurse at the hospital - It is wrong - but was “official”

If the hospital &/or state in Hawaii has the signed and sealed original or a signed and sealed copy it would only take seconds to furnish a legally notorized and signed copy
This is not for hanging on the wall or for framing

Sorry, that one has been absolutely ruled out. I confirmed with HI that as long as these forms have been used, there has always been BOTH a stamped signature and an embossed seal. Yes they are on the back, but the embossed seal is very visible from the front. This is straight from the horses mouth.

I think if there was a birth it would have been listed in the local newspaper. Is there anyone in Honolulu who can access the archives of the local newspapers there to see if there is a listing of Obama’s birth on Aug 4, 1961?

They have a piece of paper from the State of Hawaii that states he was born in Honolulu County, etc. Examining the jpg does nothing to prove whether the piece of paper is genuine. They want us to waste our time on the jpg.

My birth certificates, both original and official ones, have my middle name wrong. Another family member’s also has their first name wrong. It has never made a difference in any official interaction in our lives.
Hope this doesn’t turn out like the huge thread that ranted on and on that the 75 thousand at a rally for Obama couldn’t possibly be right!
I cited others comments that there was possibly a concert associated with it and I posted links from the city firemen and EMS people saying it WAS 75 thousand but ‘no one’ responded.
The next day it was verified in a thread that there was a concert and the crowd WAS 75 thousand. Think anyone ever admitted that they were wrong?
I believe government officials have the capacity to “delve”
more deeply than Mr everyday man - or “woman”. I’ve been here 7 years and don’t recall too many ‘expose’s’.
I wouldn’t doubt there may soon be a thread about Obama wearing mis-matched socks.
