Actually, I think it was two factors:

1) The talk of smoked meat is so irresistible, and we have so many connoisseurs here on the DUFUs, that people went into a feeding frenzy; and

2) Perry's quiz comments were so FUnnie, they made a DUFU unto themselves and needed no further comment.
