We’ve certainly had our share of divisions on FR and I’m sad that there are people who’ve been booted from here for a little too much vitriol in their support or derision of certain candidates.

Yes. The distinction is we are a conservative forum. DU, leftwing and shithouse crazy as they are, is a Democrat site. We can (and certainly do) criticize McCain, but now that Obama is the Democrat nominee, any criticism of him will earn you the granite cookie over there.
