I don't think the Blair's reserves are actually meant for consumption, I think they are strictly a novelty type thing.

I'm not even sure if they have any flavor period.

I was told that the hot sauces, depending on which ones can actually be quite good while having the heat kick.

I use the Blair essence (sparingly) in certain recipes where I don’t want to add any flavor from the sauce but want to add a little heat. I also have a low serial number Blair 2am that sit’s on the shelf for conversation. As you noted it doesn’t have any flavor and should NEVER NEVER NEVER be used anywhere close to straight. It will do physical damage to you. I always use gloves when handling my open bottle.
