If you watch the videos of her at campaign appearances, she really does seem to feed off the crowd but, for something like this to be true, it would mean Michelle Obama is completely devoid of any intelligence or common sense. Sounds like, if there is a tape at all, it's not that bad. But with a week of hype, filled with growing expectations and third-order opinions (Let me tell you about what someone else said about something they read somewhere), any tape will be greeted with a huge unthinking flood of pent up emotion and backtracking justifications.

It will be a great flash in the pan, but will serve some transient purpose and be forgotten once that purpose is served, only to be referenced if at all not by its content, but by echoes of its prerevelation expectations.
