May 2008 has the Lowest Military Fatalities Since the War Began

Nineteen American heroes died in service to their country in Iraq in May 2008. The previous low was 20 in February of 2004. Of the 19, 16 died in combat and three were non-combat related.

I wonder if we will here this anywhere else.

I expect the liberals to move the goalposts -— “but but — what about Iraqi healthcare!!!!!”

But I thought they wanted the troops home NOW, no conditions! If they really cared about the Iraqis, of course, they would push for troop reductions *after* security gains. Sick, sick people.

Bomber Kills at Least 10 in Iraqi Town

A suicide bomber attacked a police checkpoint west of Baghdad on Saturday, killing at least 10 people, including the local police chief, an official said.
