I blew a few smoke rings, remembering those years. Pot had helped, and booze; maybe a little blow when you could afford it. Not smack, though (Dreams From My Father, paperback, page 93)
http://www.whitehousedrugpolicy.gov/streetterms/ByAlpha.asp?strTerm=B, Blow = Cocaine; to inhale cocaine; to smoke marijuana; to inject heroin." However, Obama's statement "not smack" rules out the latter, leaving either pot or cocaine. The context suggests that Obama was taking the white powder up his nose.
Right. At the same age when our next President was at the U.S. Naval Academy and learning to fly high-performance jet aircraft, the Democrats' likely nominee was "snowed."
YEah, “blow” definitely means cocaine in this context. You can “blow” a joint, thereby using it as a verb, but you would never refer to ‘blow’ as a noun meaning pot.
The stuff we’ve already that has already come out about Obama is, I’m guessing, just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till after Labor Day, when the campaign really gets in full swing. The RNC and allied 527s must have file cases filled with useful background information.
“sing, just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till after Labor Day, when the campaign really gets in full swing. “
And MSM will help them publicize it!
The man is self-absorbed and unfeeling. He’s also depressed, which is why he goes for the booze, cigarettes and drugs.
I've been collecting Coca-Cola for the past 25 years....
Told a friend tonight...gonna get a little retail space to sell my collection....
Name it CokeHead!!!
....coming soon!
Berry smoked weed, snorted cocaine and he might have even smoked crack in the back of a limo with a gay lover. I know the last part has not been proved but I can’t dismiss it when Berry reminds me so much of a homosexual.
Before we criticize Obama for this, let’s take a moment to think about our darling GWB. Who doesn’t let himself get photographed with a cig in his mouth, but still smokes. And has possibly been, um, “recreational” in the past.
The president is said to be an alcoholic “on the wagon”, has been arrested for drunk driving and accused of drug use too
Loyal Republicans rushed to defend him from partisan Democrats
Millions of men are accused of crimes by their ex-wives: Do you think they’re all guilty?
I don’t care whether either Bush or Obama are “guilty”, let alone millions of random hypothetical accused men
Should be “is guilty”
I have NEVER heard that before, so you might want to cite your sources.
It is common knowledge that the president had a drinking problem until he was about forty and that he was arrested for DWI. Some scurrilous biography said that he was arrested for cocaine in 1972 and Daddy made the problem go away. In any case, there have been persistent rumors about Bush and cocaine, going back to before he entered national politics.
I don’t care what the truth is in this instance.
I know about the drinking, he’s admitted it. I just never heard anyone accuse him of being a SMOKER which, in today’s society, is far, far worse than being an addict or an alcoholic.
The best evidence that George Bush has snorted cocaine in the past is that he has never denied it
He was a cigarette smoker in the past, has purportedly switched to cigars
Laura Bush still smokes cigarettes occasionally and has been photographed with one relatively recently, once had a considerable habit
You are never going to get a honest assessment of either candidate out these partisan waters.
Remember, it’s ok if our guy did it, but it is treason if the other guy did it. Keep repeating that to yourself. /s
Personally, I don’t care what candidate did what. Those are just emotional arguments put forth by the knuckle-draggers who can’t argue their way out of a paper bag.
The ideas that Obama is championing will put this country in debt far greater than what McCain is proposing, and that is why he must be stopped.
