Richard Landes has produced a 14-minute video accompanying his column on the French court of appeals judgment reversing the defamtion verdict against Phillipe Karsenty in connection with his criticism of the infamous France 2 television report on the death of Muhammad al-Dura:
In the asymmetrical warfare of global Jihad against the West, the weak side treats the media of the strong side as a theater of war, and no single case shows the Western journalisms vulnerability to this kind of manipulation better than the Al Durah affair. Nothing illustrates the dysfunctions of our media more than their pervasive refusal to reconsider this case...
The video takes a look at the staging of other more recent instances of Pallywood (disseminated by the New York Times and Time) as wel as the al-Dura hoax reported by Charles Enderlin and broadcast by France 2.

Reporting by sound bites. Hamas has learned its lessons from the US Democrat National Committee well.
It only has to LOOK like some atrocity has been committed. Even when evidence to the contrary is brought up, the allegations of staging are dismissed as “a vast right-wing conspiracy”, and besides, this was “old news”, no longer worthy of comment, as it has been settled “fact” for some time now.
< sarcasm >Of course, the moon landing and the collapse of the World Trade Center WERE “staged”. Even the Oklahoma City bombing was a conspiracy by shadowy rogue entities within the Federal government, and the swift official murder of Timothy McVeigh was part of the coverup. < /sarcasm >
Hooray Richard Landes! Thanks for posting, moneyrunner.
