The so called Fairness Doctrine infringes freedom of the press by forcing stations to air what they would prefer not to. Imagine if a liberal talk station were forced by the government to run a show condemning homosexuality and gay marriage. Or the KKK getting a show on a black-owned, black-oriented station. Fairness? Stations should not be forced to give so called "Equal Time"

I find it odd & interesting how so many supposed Anarchists are quick to recommend government intervention into matters -which can only lead one to conclude that they are not true anarchists as they would be opposed to any form of government intervention & would not want to restrict anyone’s freedom of expression even those who they do not agree with.

Leftwingers and their simple minds. Air America disproved the notion that leftist radio fails from a lack of funding or promotion. Air America failed even in the markets where it should have succeeded (and conservative radio succeeds even where it should fail -- the perfect example being Michael Savage in San Francisco). This says there is something more fundamental at work. Nevertheless it's entertaining to watch losers like Biafra try to justify their rants with such crippled arguments.
