That would imply that the nominee needs to win 2018 delegates - out of a total of 4035.
If you add in 156 delegates for MI and 185 delegates for FL, the needed total is 2189 out of a total 4376.
So where is everyone getting this 2025 number from?
By my calculation, even if Clinton wins PR, MT, and SD by wide margins and gets half of the superdelegates remaining plus her delegates from MI and FL she will still lose the count by a few delegates.
