Not totally related to this post, but it made me think of this silly fact:
Did you know that it is still prohibited by the FCC to show anyone actually drinking beer or wine in a TV commercial! Still in effect in 2008 after being introduced in the 50’s!
They can pour it, hold it, look at it, bring it to their lips, smell it, but they CANNOT drink it in the TV commercial.
Just an amazingly arcane, useless governmental regulation that still survives long past any rational need!
