This just may be the last election for me as far as working to elect candidates. Getting up in age. Will be 73 by the time the next Presidential election comes around.

The 2008 election really saddens me. Electing McCain over a muslim or a liberal commie is the best we can do this time. If the voters elect either Obama or Hillary for President and a huge majority of Dims in the Senate and House this time, then the voters are insane. In 4 years higher taxes will finish our economy. Our military will be so underfunded and depleted that it will be impossible for them to fight even a minor military campaign. Those here illegally will be given citizenship and in a few years they will be the majority. The United States will become a third world country in the next 20 years. Crime will be more rampant than it has ever been. No longer will anyone be safe on the streets or in their homes.

I don't know what the majority of our politicians or voters are thinking. I can see nothing but the United States going downhill in the near future.
