Remarkable. Years ago many Democrats said higher gas prices would encourage conservation. Now that prices are the highest in our history, the Democrats are whining about it.
Geez.
Be careful what you ask for...
Demoncrats lie.
The one and only thing they want is to destroy the USA and put her people into slavery. Has worked with the black vote.
The Democrats are responsible for the current price of gas. They have been since january 2007 when they took over the House and Senate. They are also resposible for the economy and they decline of employment. Look it up.
Of course the Dems are too stupid to realize that their Party has controlled both Houses of Congress for the past year and a half and have done nothing about the gas prices which have skyrocketed under their leadership.
Why abandon a winning strategy? All they care about is winning not helping the country. We have several Dimocrats where I work and I physically get close to nausea or a migraine when they talk. How anyone can be so stupid is beyond me? I really do not get it. I find myself avoiding them at all costs.
It sure looks like Bush is not doing much to prevent either.
Ummm....ever heard of this thing called CONGRESS???? They usually run the show.....without their support a President has a hard time getting anything passed....
Bush has called for opening up domestic drilling and for building refineries on old military bases. What do you suggest that he do?
They ae whining only in public. Behind closed doors they are THRILLED because whatever is bad for the country is good for ‘Rats. That is why they will absolutely REFUSE to allow any more drilling offshore or in Alaska.
As much as I hate to say it, Johnny Mac is as culpable for this as any rat.
When it comes to climate change, John McCain and Al Gore are far too much alike and on the same page for my comfort - sponsoring legislation for the past several years that would give morons like Gore the regulatory control and power he wanted when he tried to get America to sign on to the UN’s Kyoto global warming treaty.
You don’t have to believe me.
Sen. Lindsey Graham is on record (and appearing to be heading down the same delusional trail slipping further from reality) said of Johnny Mac Climate change is the road less traveled but hes traveled it even more than Al Gore. Al Gore has talked about it and deserves great recognition but he was around here a long time and never introduced a bill.
So that I have this straight. Al Gore has done less than John McCain when it comes to climate change? That appears to be the words and argument from one of McCains top campaign surrogates.
Thanks. That makes sense.
C'mon ... let's sart calling this like it is.
This isn't Conservative vs. Liberal .. Republican vs. Democrat ...
This is friggin' WAR.
If YOU don't feel it ... I DO.
I take this personal.
I'm 60 ... almost dead ... my kids and grand kids are my posterity and they deserve to at least know, first hand, the efforts of their daddy/granddaddy.
And they need to know all those years of me being accused of wasting time on the computer ... reading and reading and reading and replying on FreeRepublic was really an intelligent thing to do, and not some whacko's who couldn't do anything except talk.
Democrats or the media - which is it? Actually it doesn’t matter, they’re both the same.
The dems want something and the media does it.
He should declare a national security emergency and open up drilling of ANWR and the coastal waters by Executive Order. He should also order the Attorney General to charge the Boards of Directors of all the leftist "environmental" organizations under RICO statutes.
I agree with all your points especially this one: “He should also order the Attorney General to charge the Boards of Directors of all the leftist “environmental” organizations under RICO statutes.”
If the Democrats need $6/gal gas, I’ll be happy to supply it.
How much do they need?
