While Conservatives see education as a tool to empower the individual, Liberals see it as a method of maintaining control of the individual by the state—the opposite of empowerment. It's been said that if you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, but if you teach him to fish, you feed him for a lifetime. But Liberals have discovered that if you convince him that all fish are poisonous that don't come from you, then you make him a slave forever. That, in a nutshell, is how Liberals use education.

It’s always been a Lake Woebegone notion - a place where every child is above average...

Yeah, it appears he’s got some sort of Internet Explorer superiority fetish going on.

I don’t suppose he really has much interest in people reading his writing after all.

What’s the deal? Is he against Firefox ‘cause it’s free? He must not be interested.

I think it's because Firefox can block advertisements and he wants to bombard you with whatever he's stuck up on his site without you having any choice but to take it.

I don't suppose the nimrod realizes you can block ads with just about any other browser if you know what your doing.

Screw him.

I had no idea there were so many Mozilla cultists here. Sorry for blaspheming your browser god. Perhaps if I sacrificed my firstborn on the Mozilla Alter it will pacify the angry mob of crazed fanboys, weilding pitchforks, torches and a flaming effigy of Bill Gates.

Cultist?

I think you need to pull your head out and take a breath, you’re suffering from a severe lack of O2.

Do whatever you want on your site, it is yours after all, but if you think your ideas are important enough to deserve attention maybe you should be reaching for as large an audience as possible. Without demonizing those of us who choose to use a different browser.

But as for cultist, if I have to conform to your idea of propriety in order to be worthy of hearing your word, that smacks of cultism to me.

As I said before, Screw Him, but since you’ve be so kind as to post, then I’ll say it directly, Screw you.

It’s just a browser. It’s not worth getting all in a snit about. I blocked it last year to make a statement, and forgot to take the block off the individual posts. Get some perspective, dude.
