kudos go to her and hers. Kudos to Wee Willie for getting back on his game! This was Classic Pitt!

I heard some "new dims" say they "already voted for BO for president". They had NO idea the general electionin Nov is the one that actually counts. Note to the new Democrats: Remember, remember, the Fifth of November.

Mondale holds the dubious distinction of being the only person to have lost a statewide race in all 50 states. Actually, the Mondale Coalition was able to win Minnesota and DC, for a whopping 13 electoral votes (out of 538).

It makes no sense, has no point and takes the reader nowhere. That's Pitt's métier. It's a gift.
To: Condor51
whose absence from the polls tends to directly affect their lives. . . . Actually, that is correct use. "To affect" means to have an impact on. "To effect" means to create, to bring into being.
Now "effect" as a NOUN would describe the result of how their lives were affected.

One strange thing. Pitt had a self-glorifying journal entry a few days ago about being at Kent State and holding a candle or something for a student named Sandy who was killed there. However, that entry is now mysteriously GONE! Did Pitt have to take it down because it was factually challenged or some other reason?I know the Bostonian Drunkard was in the vicinity of Kent State some years ago; the Bostonian Drunkard borrowed a book from a friend near there, and promised to return it.
Well, it's been some time.....
The moral being, don't lend the Bostonian Drunkard a book unless you don't want it back.
Typical of rich kids, so careless with other people's property.

Did Pitt have to take it down because it was factually challenged or some other reason? It would have to be "some other reason". Since when does Pitt have any problem with being "factually challenged"?

I love the fruity umbrella drink for Pitt compared to the beer glasses for everybody else.

...pissed Democrats... Pitt is the natural leader of that faction. He's always "pissed", or else on his way to Bukowski's to get "pissed" again.

Ken Norton the blind squirrel found a nut on Tuesday? But I thought Ken's prediction was that Hillary would DROP OUT by today. Hillary hasn't dropped out. So the Ken Norton Effect isn't affected. (Condor51, please note.)

Mondale later lost a statewide race for the US Senate.
I deliberately left out the District as it is NOT a state.

Although the term you would use rhymes with “kickers”, yes?

Yaknow, this gratuitous use of Hendrix is sooooooooo sad. It just screams “hippie wannabe”. Pitt is jealous that he was born too late to be “part of the solution” all the while recognizing that his ma & pa became part of the problem.
Let one rip Nelson!

Pitt needs to take a freebie ad out in Craigslist for seeking employment as a political operative. Maybe someone could place the ad for him. Hee! Hee!

Indiana changed history. I knew they had strange time zones in Indiana, but I didn't realize that they were able to alter the space/time continuum and change history.

Bobby had it, and maybe they laid him low exactly because he had it. McGovern tried, and did really well considering what he was up against in his own party. Hey, Pitt, maybe you didn't hear, but Bobby Kennedy's killer was caught, he's still alive. He was a Palestinian nutcase who shot him for supporting Israel. There was no "they."
One of the FUnniest things I've ever heard was a few years back when Sirhan Sirhan was up for parole and said if Bobby Kennedy were still alive, he would appeal for him to be paroled. I remember saying "Wow! the only guy who thinks you shouldn't be in prison and you had to go murder him."

Thank you, I can't stand when effect and affect are used incorrectly. They're not interchangable.
Of course, I'm the guy that always says founder instead of flounder, but now flounder is acceptable.

pissed Democrats. . . . Pitt's usually pissed, in the British sense of the word. He can't get pissed in the American sense because he lost his angry.

Give a journalist a cowboy hat, tell him his digging will land him fame and fortune, and he'll go stand in a ditch until he's stopped by fire ants. That made me LOL out loud.
