Gosh, who wouldn’t dump these women? The one who expects her child’s father to send HER a present on the child’s birthday is a real piece of work.
I don’t need a thing for Mother’s Day, but I’d better remind my husband to get cards in the mail for his mother and step-mother.

(Yes, but how does that help?)

My friend's ex-wife would absolutely pull this except he has custody. She is borderline insane in how she views the world. She divorced him for no reason, lied about him being unfaithful to save face with her family, took him to court only to get less money than he had offered and eventually gave up custody of their 2 year old son.
They have been divorced for 3 years and she still expects my friend to act like her husband in every way except she can go party whenever she wants.
I think she is insane.

I get presents from my children on their birthdays. I always have & my mom did before me. I don't know who started it but its just a small thing. A candle or rose etc. Just a small thank you from my 4 birth children & my 2 adopted sons do it too. It doesn't make me greedy IMHO. It shows how much they love me. I don't expect it either, however I hope the tradition continues.
