Try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and/or Antivir.

Check your add/remove programs list. Sometimes things like this “hide” in there, thus making it look legitimate to the anti-virus/anti-spyware programs.

When you have something REALLY dug into your system and the anti-malware and anti-virus software isn’t taking care of it, the best place to go is www.majorgeek.com Follow their directions to the letter. Eventually you will run a program called “hijackthis.” That will give you the info. you need to rip out whatever it is. And if it doesn’t, you can send the log to them, and they will give you instructions (but ONLY if you did all of the things their website says to first).
