Meanwhile, a city lawyer told elected officials this week that to gather information for one of the lawsuits, technicians have to copy the hard drives of laptop computers used by elected officials.

Interim City Attorney Karen Sindelar relayed that news to City Council members at the end of the council's biweekly work session on Thursday and asked them to bring their computers in for copying.
