Ping.
I’m sorry mzimmpa, but North Carolina has been “invaded”, and is currently occupied by transplant yanks. Most of which, unfortunatly, are LIBERALS. They bring the same LIBERAL train of thought with them that turned their former homes into overtaxed septictanks. The demonrats, er, uh democrats of NC have not caught on just yet , that their old party has CHANGED over the years. There are NO current TRUE conservatives on any ballot to my knowledge. Thus, I bid you good luck my friend in finding any candidate rising above the moniker: RINO ! Especially in Raleigh.
THANK-YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE !!

call the NC GOP office in Raleigh
FWIW - http://www2.journalnow.com/content/2008/apr/21/experience-leads-candidate-debate/ has a profile of the Republican gubernatorial candidates. I have been leaning to Fred Smith as the most conservative.
Pick up a copy of the local “progressive” paper, The Independent, and then vote for the opposite of whomever they endorse.
