David,
Just for your information. No one reads any correspondence in fund-raising letters to the RNC, even the ones with so called ‘polls’ or surveys. Outsourced groups basically open every envelop, pull out the checks, and shred the rest. Letters, comments, etc, are never read nor, even in most cases, even touched by an RNC employee.

You have every right to send your letter to the RNC, David Osborne. That First Amendment right is one of the many freedoms that John McCain fought to preserve. The fact is, though, that the RNC didn’t nominate John McCain as the GOP presidential candidate; the majority of the GOP primary voters did. If you feel comfortable about helping to put Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton into the Oval Office, then go for it. How much better it would have been, however, if you had put half the energy that you put into writing that letter into working for the nominee of your choice—unless, of course, that nominee is one of those two Democrats.

“...if you had put half the energy that you put into writing that letter into working for the nominee of your choice...”

David spent more time working for his conservative candidate than anyone I know — and that’s while he was serving in Iraq.

Do you know that for sure? I’ve wondered about it, all those questionaires they send me asking my opinion AND a donation. I always get the feeling they could care less about my opinions, only my money.

Except for that whole McCain/Feingold thing that takes away our civil right to free political speech 60 days before the election.

David was extremely involved working for his chosen candidate, Duncan Hunter.

If the Democrats win this election, those who foisted McCain on the rest of us will have to learn to live with their disatrous decision. There are many of us who will not be voting for McCain. I surely don’t want Obama or Clinton to get elected, but I hope McCain gets his @$$ kicked.

Usually new people aren’t so rude and mouthy.

You don’t know what anyone here has done for their candidate, and you aren’t going to get far around here with your pom-pom act for McCain.

From the founder of this site:

John McCain, you treasonous....

Well, that ought to do the trick. I’m sure McCain will withdraw now.

Hey Diane,

You might want to educate yourself about McCain before you start mouthing off to other Freepers.

McCain did not fight to preserve the 1st Amendment, in fact, he tried and succeed in extremely minimizing that right with his McCain-Fiengold bill.

The pompom act is why she is here. Have you noticed all the new signups shilling for McCain?

Freeper Since Feb 21, 2008,

CC: My PING list..

I see that you are a long time FREEPER... /sarcasm>

I sent you a private reply which have not responded to so I am compelled to respond to your criticism publicly.

You obviously have no clue what FR is all about and WHO you are "preaching" to.... I suggest you take a few moments of your time to review some of my posts over the past several years before you decide to preach to me.....

FReegards,

David
