Help me understand this statement, which we hear all the time, since his father is black and his mother is white?

Further, his father is mixed, as I understand it, with more ancestors from the Middle East than from Africa.

Forgetting all of this, using the word "credible" here seems to be pretty demeaning to others in his arena who happen to have dark skin color.
