This is wonderful. Has the letter appeared anywhere else? I would dearly love to get my hands on it at a reputable site, particularly since that Blogspot doesn’t print properly.

Can any Freeper direct me to a source of a written description of the exercise in rational inquiry, debate, analysis of relevant measurements data, evaluation of the comparative efficacies of all known significant causes of atmospheric heating, and other pertinent considerations, all conducted according to accepted techniques and standards of scientific inquiry by qualified scientists expert in the relevant disciplines, that culminated in deciding that carbon dioxide is the major cause of the recent warming trend?
Does such documentation exist, or was the choice of CO-2 driven by non-scientific considerations, as many suspect or believe?
