You can hear Hillary's annoying cackle on the latest edition of
NewsBusted.
Late DUFU today because the internet connection in my entire neighborhood was down all morning. So I went over to an auto dealership where some friends of mine work. I can use one of the computers there in the customer's lounge as long as I don't abuse the privilege. So I beelined over there and checked out my eBay auctions where I am selling a killer product. Unfortunately, just as I was about to shut down the internet browser, a message flashed on the screen that said something like, "YOU ARE WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY!!!"
Sure enough, a bunch of hard core thumbnails appeared on the screen even though I had nothing to do with bringing them up. Then red lights started flashing on the screen with this message:
"WARNING! WARNING! PORNOGRAPHY ON YOUR COMPUTER!!!"
I tried to close the window but no go. I also got very nervous because with all those flashing lights about Porno, I figured someone in the customer lounge would spot it and have me marked as some kind of public pervo. I glanced around the lounge but all the customers were either reading magazines or watching TV.
The flashing PORNO screen then advised me I could get rid of the PORNO if I downloaded a special program. Since I couldn't close the window, I hit the download button in desperation. What came up was even MORE pornography.
I was overcome with desperation when finally one of my many window closing clicks worked and the FLASHING PORNO screen finally closed.
And what was that all about????

That is hardly fair. I'd say that Obama is destroying his chances pretty good all on his lonesome. For the record: I am not bitter (although I do live in PA, believe in God and the 2nd amendment)

Devious ads, PJ my man. If the actual ad link says 'Close?', or 'Download special program to stop the pornography', NEVER click on them! NEVER CLICK ON ANY BUTTON INSIDE AN AD. They're liars, and usually serve as a means of getting more spyware and adware onto the computer. In such a situation (I'm assuming these were pop-up ads), click on the actual 'X' close icon in the upper corner, or click Alt-F4, or do Ctrl+Alt+Delete and either end the IE application or end the IE process itself. If it's REALLY threatening stuff, shut down immediately.
Those ads are irritating stuff.
