Good rant until you played The Race Card; just like a Liberal would. *Rolleyes* You effectively negated everything you said prior to that.

It’s not important to rehash the native American’s losing their land — but what is important is that we all must keep our land from terrorists.

A re-write will make it less condescending. Never ACCUSE your AUDIENCE of anything unless you WANT to irritate them. Even Ann Coulter doesn’t do that, and she can be pretty annoying.
Just trying to help. I know how hard it is to formulate ones thoughts and defend ones position on the issues of the day. Most of the GOP Leaders can’t even do it!
I live & work amongst Liberals, so I’m very attuned to their thought process, or lack there-of. You’re sounding like one. Avoid that, if you want a Conservative Audience to take you seriously.

One of the things that really irritates me about some people here who go on the attack is to accuse those of us who are conservative as being liberal.

Perhaps it’s just possible that you don’t understand what I’m trying to say. Doesn’t mean I express myself perfectly, and apparently, you certainly don’t perceive either. Especially if you can’t understand what I mean.

Oh, and as for “rolleye” — wouldn’t tolerate that from any of our four kids. In our house, children were not allowed to “diss” the adults who provided for their bread and butter and gave them food and shelter and a whole bunch of luxuries that they remember fondly, now that they’ve all turned 40.
They kind of like the way we set boundaries and would not tolerate their “rolleyes.”
But then, that’s parenting, isn’t it?

Yup.
Not all of us mothers get to be soldiers. Some of us are content to raise our children to be law-abiding citizens who respect the adults in their lives — including their teachers, Sunday School teachers, pastors, college profs, etc.
And the last time I was accused of mental masturbation was from a sixteen year old who was appropriately. Personal insults do not encourage dialogue — not from you and not from my kiddos that you sound like.
I’ve never understood what mental masturbation means. It’s not in my vocabulary. It’s just smut talk that people like you use when you can’t think of real words to say.
How did I insult you? I’m paraphrasing, but I was agreeing with another poster who said laying down one’s life for his neighbor’s freedom is the epitome of the love of freedom. If you have a problem with that, then I pity you. As for the term “mental masturbation” that another poster used, that simply means “a waste.”
Some of you need to back down and click the link about, the original post is not about The race card, it is about warriors.
