Reminded me of Tiny Tim singing Tiptoe Through the Tulips.

You need to ping silent_johnny and get on his American Idol ping list. Lots of fun commentary every week.

Wasn’t Jason the genius who thought the Beatles’ “Michelle” was about a bell?

I thought he was horrible. I had never heard the "new version" of
Over the Rainbow upon which Jason's was arranged and based on his performance last night, I don't ever want to. I was astounded when the panel slobbered over him afterwards.
And I too thought of Tiny Tim during his song....

He did a good job with the tune. I would have liked him to sing the whole song which includes going in and out of It's a Wonderful World. Do a search on youtube and listen to
IZ sing it. He's the guy that created the tune with the Uke.
The song was first heard sung as the ending tune to the movie "Meet Joe Black". When I first heard it I was blown away.
If you want to hear one of the best covers of the song listen to the late Eva Cassidy sing it. She was amazing and it was sad that she died.

Absolutely brilliant performance last night. If he keeps up he could be a contender for the coveted American Idol, but if he does like the week before...Yieks!
