I had a friend in highschool who was black. I use to go over to his house so he could teach me to play the drums. He was the only black guy in the school which hung around all my white friends. I don't remember exactly what he said to me, but what I took from it was he essentially called me a racist. Right then and there somehow I knew this was some kind of paranoia coming out of which I figured his parents taught him. I remember his mother was there at the time smiling while he was telling me this crapolla. It was one of the strangest encounters I've ever been apart of with no rhyme or reason for it to ever have ocurred.

To this day I figure it was some kind of right of passage.

Oh my goodness, you're right. However, I never even thought about the implication while writing it or noticed it's effect.

I'm not into PC so I refuse to acknowledge what might offend someone because they misinterpret a context.

Thanks for that. I figured you were teasing, but I can't believe I wrote a sentence like that and didn't even recognize the potential of an offense to my fellow man. I mean, I call people all sorts of things, but would never insinuate anything be taken as potentially racially insensative as what I wrote.
