As much respect as I have for Jim Dobson, if you’re waiting for help from a guy who thought Fred Thompson was an unacceptable candidate because he didn’t go to church as much as he should, you are going to be waiting for a long time.
I mentioned Dobson only because he seems to be listed first whenever I see something about this group. Some of the other names give me a bit more hope, but I’ll believe it when I see it from them.
I have to agree with you. Dobson has not exactly been seeing with clarity this year. While it would be good to have a voice like his to aid, I am not sure if others will value what he speaks because of his veering the past year. Those who are strongly conservative will not put much stock into what he says, while he may bring along others who backed those like Fred, and are not happy with the McCain option. Perhaps the Dobson voice should be weighed, and waited on. Bring it in later, after others are voicing it loudly, as an echo...rather than a front voice, if you understand my drift?
If you refuse to include Christians, then McCain is for you.

Yep, Dobson stupidly nuked the pro-life support of Fred for the Huckster. I lost a lot of respect for him.
That said, Fred (whom I love and who is a conservative) is not an option because he is a loyal team player and will not overtly buck the GOP machine.
