What if the far left got everything they whine for?
Thinking about what life would be like in the nation of the United States if her domestic enemies got everything they wanted... all those changes from the super-socialists, communists (“What’s so bad about communism?”—thanks You Tube), Code Pink, ANSWER and the “God D*mn America” types of the truly barely educated American variety of the vilest lefties… It would seem that collectively, we haven’t paid near enough in social services. Wow.
I and you are uniquely qualified perhaps as she said. I know there are many who have seen and lived the same experiences. Still, for any of us to say “I’m uniquely qualified” has a kind of certain, pretentious and unarguable ring to it, doesn’t it? Yeah, me… Can I not claim to be uniquely qualified for whatever I think I deserve? Sure. I want to write. So, even the fact there’s plenty of trouble about that notion—rejection beside me, above me, below me and as far out in front as I can see, it doesn’t matter at all. I am because I say I am.
I’ve worked for companies (three) no longer in business at all. I’ve worked in a plant that went through a complete shut down. I’ve worked in a plant that declared bankruptcy but luckily became part of another concern after I left. Before all of that, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps when I was eighteen during the Viet Nam era. It was admittedly my form of scholarship. Thank you taxpayers indeed, very much. Responding to a call up during Desert Storm, I reported to Fort Benning (following a one-year try program in the National Guard) but didn’t have to go anywhere because the war was over quickly. Along the way, I was blessed with four wonderful children. Three of them are college graduates; the youngest is on track to graduate.
Surprise, my loving grandchildren are being home-schooled. They are in California and even though they are located over a hundred miles away, they are still too close to the Berkeley City Council. But the time my daughter and her Air Force pilot husband will be limited in California and they’ll return to the southeast—perhaps still not far enough away from Berkeley. One of the editors at their paper wrote in response to a letter I sent that it was good I was in Tennessee. I feel pretty good about that too.
I’ve made plenty of mistakes of course but also did some things right. I’ve had plenty of friends along the way and sadly, made a few enemies because I happen to be in a position where their work performance got them fired—and I was often the one to have to deliver the news. I’ve had some good times and some times that really sucked. I’m sure all of this is quite boring to most but most especially to the enemies of our nation. One gets the idea many of them haven’t worked anywhere other than a bookstore or a coffee shop—and probably has already filed for disability while in their twenties due to soft tissue injuries from lifting books or handing a customer a twelve ounce cup of coffee saturated with whipped milk and cocoa.
What would life be like if the enemies of our nation had their way? • Corporate America would be divested and I suppose the assets re-distributed to some number of people. To who would go the spoils of this righteous thievery? What would they do with those assets? Is it likely one would be able to buy a new refrigerator after the present inventory is sold out? Umm. No, I suppose not. We’d best take good care of the one we have in service. • Private property would be evaluated and taken from those with too much land, too much house, too much of whatever. Capitalism’s enemies decide who will be affected I guess. I’m not on their list of good guys so I would lose out. • The military would be downsized and have to make do with the equipment already in their arsenals. It would be dedicated to protecting our shores from Islamic Fascists but mainly asked to enforce the righteous confiscation noted above. I suspect enlistments will fall off exponentially. Just as well as there will not be the budget for them anyway. • The American people would finally have free healthcare, free prescription drugs, free college, free rent, free cars, free food, free gasoline, free cable and free computers. You would not get to decide who lives with you say, in that confiscated 24,000 square foot house taken in North Carolina or in Nashville, Tennessee but that’s only fair. You’ll have to get used to whatever you have down the hallway, the odors, the noise, the criminality, the homicide or the rapes—whatever. Your house is free. Everything is free. What a lovely place to feel your karma, sip your latte and pretend to read your books. o We can all just let our hair grow. • The police forces would be retrained to remain neutral in all cases. Where there is criminal activity and the perps are black or Hispanic, deference must be applied since we have a history of building jails to house criminals rather than send them to college. o Guns will be outlawed of course. That should give you peace of mind as you walk to the small field allowed by the masters to pick two cucumbers, your daily ration of food. o Lord God almighty, there will finally be no more capital punishment! We can give thanks for that change—practically moot anyway—but won’t it make us all feel so much better to know there will be no more Tookies to suffer less than he gave? • Religion will be relegated by the far left to the place it deserves to them for it’s unbending (some) adherence to certain moral codes. That is it will be hidden away quite nicely in obscurity. It will finally pay taxes unless it is a liberal non-church. It will be forced to hire anyone who applies for a position in its schools, administration and news services—which will be strongly monitored by government enforcement of the new and improved fairness doctrine. In short, that is for every "amen," there has to be two f*cks aired on public airways. • Within a year, the economy would near collapse. People will wonder where the jobs went. They went away, nowhere or somewhere. Poof. • Within two years, the economy will completely satisfy our anarchist, communist friends of the American variety. Most people will live in a survival mode—an existence very few know and understand. We and they won’t like it. • Within three years of successful anarchy when leftism as the movement’s most expressive and powerful completes its dream plan, everyone will finally be equal. o What’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours. Don’t try to hang on to it. A fight will ensue. o A barter system will be the best way—practically the only way to engage in commerce. o Only government employees will enjoy a steady income—stuffed full of seniority and affirmative action candidates—certain to lead to more efficiency and effectiveness of government. There will be a shift of employment lawsuits and slip and fall lawsuits toward the government given that will be pretty much all that’s left to sue. Um. • There will likely be an exodus to Mexico. • Others will move to France, Australia or England. Even France would be a better place to live by the time the nation’s enemies have their way. o We’ll have to wait in line at their immigration offices. A bag of sandwiches may be very useful. Cans of Vienna sausages will last longer. • There will be less work for the ACLU. This prediction of catastrophe isn’t all bad. • It’s possible within ten years Islamic Fascists will visit our gun-free wasteland and install Sharia law on those who are left. After all, these men have no compunction to wait and no reservations in terms of scruples or decorum against slitting throats of people who do not agree to submit.
I suspect the first people to begin dying will be the enemies of our nation. That is after their complaints that things just haven’t worked out how they were suppose to—and their whiny complaints that it all must be because of a secret sect of corporatists, George Bush, Diabold or someone else who is secretly hording every carbon off-set and most of the fried chicken. Many of them appear to be at death’s door already. I’m not sure some can stand the pressure.
They must not have taken economics seriously or they had one of those goofy, bad professors in college—no surprise there—they don’t see the reality of what they would create if they had their way. I must assume they don’t really think they’ll ever get it and on this score for our sake, I pray they’re right. I suppose we have to be careful about the college we choose. The choices are constricting more every year as more unables enter the college workforce. The unables have already taken over the grade schools.
Maybe they burn the flag, defecate in public on the flag and try to synchronize their voices to shout a ditty of political angst or lock themselves in front of a recruiter’s office for the party of it all. What could it be—are there good drugs available to them? For many, do they come out for the women or men? (Uh, maybe… I don’t know but have seen many of our enemies on videos and uh, well, no comment). Maybe enough of them are getting paid for this “work” by someone… who will cut them off as soon as they’re successful. Oh, my. Didn’t see that coming did you?

This is an interesting thought experiment. Indeed, it has been done before. 1984 comes to mind. Animal Farm. Et cetera, et cetera. They would turn everthing to ruination, take all our liberties and destroy or kill anyone with the slightest ounce of decency and honesty and Christianity. Civilization would collapse. Anarcy would rein until some dictator seized power and sent all the lefties to the gulags. Then the people surrounding the absolute dictator would live lives of absolute luxury and unimaginable power over the rest of us. Civil war would break out and continue indefinitely.
It's a semi-humorous look at what the world would be if the 'RATs and DU types were to take over.
Thank you for your thoughts—you naiiled my little essay for exactly what it is—I was thinking if all were to be done that we have heard and seen from the dark left were to be actually done, what would we have left?
In my view it seems to make sense to explore what they are deminding of the rest of us.
