The State Department this evening had not yet released the names of the persons responsible for the unauthorized searches but said two were employed by Stanley Inc. and the third was an employee of The Analysis Corp. (TAC).
Stanley Inc., a 3,500-person firm, is an Arlington-based information technology firm that this week won a $570 million contract to continue providing passport services to the State Department, which the company has done since 1992, according to Stanley Inc.’s Web site.
TAC is a McLean-based information firm that has helped the State Department automate the Terrorist Watchlist over the last several years, the company’s Web site said.
TAC’s Chief Executive Officer John O. Brennan is a former CIA agent who is an adviser to Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign.

Good question. Did she ever return the files? I'd love to see her sputter and cackle her way out of that one. Someone should dump 1000 files at her next campaign stop and ask her are these hers?
Actually, I'd be angry, since I heard the files contain social security numbers as well as other personal information.
This is another worthy reason the federal government cannot be trusted with our health care decisions.

Seriously, though, who recruited and hired these contractors? Did they download or forward the electronic data to an outside source? Could it be that whoever was interested in one file, told the contractor to look at all three files to make it look like fairly innocuous curiousity?
No she never returned the FBI FILES that Craig Livingstone gave her.
Pretty easy to do considering her reputation for doing just that.
Why does she still have these and why hasn't the Bush Administration told her to give them back and arrest her like they did Charles Colson...(I hope I have correct spelling) the aide to Richard Nixon who spent two years in jail for obtaining an FBI File.
