Weird... My fancy new cellphone alerted me that the battery was low, so I plugged it into the laptop (charges via USB) and suddenly it started playing music! Somehow “Windows Media” got activated....

My cell phone just goes dead when the battery is low. Usually I remember to plug it in before that :-).
