Those of us who were still coherently functioning found pleasure in small things that “seemed” normal. In some instances, music did that.

The Beatles outgrew themselves, and so split up. I prefer to think that the smart ones (musicians) quit smoking pot and did something good with their lives. Some did, and are still around. Sir Paul made us all proud!

But some were/are die-hards, and can’t drag themselves out of the anti-culture culture. They’re the ones that the stoners keep voting into office....
