I thought they might be the ones that look a lot like a beaver. If a muskrat or a beaver is going to talk, John Wayne’s is as good a voice as any.

Maybe so.
But the helmet on his head and the cigar he was chewing on put him over the top with the voice.
Watched too many John Wayne war movies as a kid I guess.
