You can grow canteloupes there? I tried the last few years and they didn’t come out right.

I haven’t tried them here, but a farmer about a mile up the road grows about a 5-acre field every year, and they turn out fine. I’ve dug up a 4’x4’ square on a slight downhill slope, away from the house. The vines spread all over, but there’s nothing back there except the wisteria.
